At our salon, we offer
a type of perm called
a cold perm.
A cold perm is a type of perm that creates curls in the hair using chemicals rather than heat. One of its key characteristics is that the curls appear tighter when the hair is wet and become looser as it dries, resulting in a soft and natural finish.
The process involves wrapping the hair around rods while damp, then applying a perm solution to set the curls.
Key Features of Cold Perms:
• Stronger curls when wet:
As the curls loosen when dry, styling is best done by lightly wetting the hair and applying styling products to achieve a soft, voluminous look.
• Can be applied from the roots:
Ideal for those who want to add volume throughout the hair, including at the roots.
• Less damage to the hair:
Since no heat is used, cold perms tend to cause less damage compared to hot perms such as digital perms. However, the curls generally don’t last as long—typically around 1 to 2 months.
We mainly use [ARIMINO COSME CURL] a Japanese made perm solution, which belongs to the cosmetic-grade category.
This product contains moisturising and hair-protecting ingredients that provide suppleness and hydration, significantly reducing stress on the hair. It is also suitable for heavily damaged hair.
