Japanese Hair Straightening  is a treatment that chemically straightens naturally curly or frizzy hair by altering its internal structure and setting it into a straight form. It’s particularly effective for taming strong curls or waves, leaving the hair smoother and easier to manage.

Although the straightening effect lasts for a long time, newly grown hair will retain its natural curl or frizz. As such, it’s necessary to have the treatment redone periodically to maintain a uniform appearance.

The time required for the process can vary greatly depending on the length, thickness, and strength of the hair’s natural curl.

Damaged, processed hair always needs more care and attention, and virgin hair can be very strong, so it will take longer to process. Treatment could take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours.

Results can differ from client to client due to the individual’s hair condition. Virgin hair, coloured, or damaged hair can affect the overall outcome of the treatment.

For first time clients having a straight perm at our salon, we recommend a complimentary consultation before the treatment.
